Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe This season Single Drunk Female, like many second seasons, gives more time over to the supporting characters. It works. May 4, 2023 Full Review Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Mary Kate Carr AV Club It’s impossible to fault Single Drunk Female too strongly when it remains consistently funny, clever, and affecting. Rated: B- Apr 10, 2023 Full Review Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Tara Ariano Cracked Single Drunk Female has the classy problem of having created such a deep bench of supporting characters that not all of them get the screen time I would have liked this season. Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Allyson Johnson Pajiba One of the more delicate, gracious, and biting takes on sobriety, Single Drunk Female season two continues to succeed through its compassion. Apr 24, 2023 Full Review Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Kristen Maldonado Pop Culture Planet It’s really refreshing to see young people getting sober and figuring their lives out. There’s heart and humor as we see the ups and downs this ensemble deals with. They really become a family of sorts that you love to follow. Apr 23, 2023 Full Review Single Drunk Female: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Shannon O'Connor The Daily Beast It’s the show’s uncanny ability to perfectly blend humor and heart that is one of its greatest strengths. Joanna T Not as good as season 1 but still solid! Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/01/24 Full Review Edoardo C Generosity, as Lorne Michaels once said to Jerry Seinfeld, about the main reason why Jimmy Fallon is a great host, I personally found it in the writing staff choices of Single Drunk Female S2. generosity. yes, they shaped S2 in a way that every character can mature and grow. not all spotlights are pointing on Sam Fink, (the protagonist), which, btw, did a great job. personally, I saw a strong growth also in the other actors/characters. in this refreshing forest of wonderful tall trees, the stunning talent of Sofia Black-D'Elia is so palpable that's almost unbelievable. yesterday I watch a yt video interview made by Jimmy Fallon himself. they discussed several topics, obviously. one was that the father of the actress, a NJ judge in real life, doesn't really notice 'the acting' of the daughter, but is always very impress by her facial expressions. than, I focus on this aspect, watching the next episode. it's really true. she's a wonderful actress, incredibly talented. she's so comfortable in front of a camera that seems not acting at all. not frequently actors that begin this career before age 5 are still in the same pool after puberty. there are very few examples. one above all, is Kurt Russell. but there's an ocean of failed attempts, out there. Sofia Black-D'Elia is definitely flying towards a long, prosperous and satisfying life as a main character in this industry. and she absolutely deserves it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/02/23 Full Review Mary G Highly watchable, quirk-y, with great characters! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review mary c Absolutely loved S1! S2 is great too. I think Sophia is so perfect in this role as well as the rest of the cast. The writing is so well done. This show brilliantly combines emotion and depth with the right amount of humor. I'm always rooting for Sam on her journey. I felt the last couple eps of S2 after she got a different sponsor it got a little muddled and felt different than the rest of the season, but I still enjoyed it. Look forward to S3! Its refreshing to see a drama that's not so angsty. This is more light even when it's being serious. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
