Due to organic growth, World Wide Technology EMEA now has an exciting new opportunity available for a Benefits Analyst to work in our high achieving and friendly EIC team.
The International Benefits Analyst will support EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, and Africa) benefits programs including but not limited to medical, dental, life insurance, disability, pension, and leave of absence (e.g., update benefit vendors disability portal).
This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across and beyond Human Resources, as well as with external partners such as brokers.
Responsibilities:
Participates in the annual benchmarking, assessment, and design of our international benefits programs.
Updates insurance carriers’ portals as needed e.g., disability and census data.
Contacts appropriate labor Insurance Office for statutory benefits requests and administration (e.g., Partner Leave, Parental Leave, Maternity Leave etc.)
Assists employees and managers with benefits inquiries.
Administrates Pension plan.
Facilitates wellness events including but not limited to screenings, financial wellness, and mental health workshops.
Leads new hire benefits orientation, enrollments, and process life status changes.
Develops program communications and resource materials to increase employee understanding and engagement of the international benefit programs with a key focus on continued process improvement.
Coordinates the creation, review and implementation of benefits policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulations.
Partners with payroll to ensure statutory benefits reporting and filings are completed timely.
Uses market trends and benchmarking data to improve and/or determine which benefit programs are right for us.
Identifies opportunities to improve programs and processes.
Implement communication campaigns to ensure appropriate understanding of benefit programs.
Assists with employee knowledge base in our HR Service portal.
Researches and potentially implements and administers new programs.
Experience Needed
Strong experience with international benefits - MUST
Fluent in English and Dutch both verbal and written - MUST
Experience of management or implementation of leave policies.
Familiar with pension including administration.
Knowledge of government benefit regulations and compliance requirements.
Understanding of European benefits and leave management theory, best practice, and standards.
Experience in implementing global benefit programs and policies.
Strong desire to create innovative, compelling programs in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform analysis to identify trends and resolve complex problems.
Effective interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple high-level projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Highly organized with attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Should be highly resourceful & proactive in task execution.
Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, and sometimes challenging environment.
Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
