Right now, Xfinity internet customers who bundle Xfinity Mobile with their internet service are automatically eligible for monthly discounts for 24 months depending on the plan. Subscribers must activate a new line within 90 days and maintain that line for the entire duration to keep the discount. Customers must also maintain an internet speed at or above the performance plan level for the discount to remain valid.

Xfinity Internet Fees

While it’s possible to skip out on Xfinity’s equipment and installation fees completely, some customers may not have that luxury. On top of the monthly rate for your internet plan, you may expect to pay the following fees.

• Installation fee: Xfinity’s professional installation fee costs $100. Customers can also choose Self-Install Plus for technician guidance with the kit for $39.99. (On many plans, free self-installation is an available option.)
• Data overage fee: Xfinity internet plans have a data cap of 1.2 TB. Xfinity charges $10 per 50 GB of data exceeded with a maximum charge of $100 per month.
